Peter Clark
He collected paper wrappers, picture cards and comics as aa
child, so in a way collage found him, collage is representative of his career
path, as it tuck over his illustration work.
His work is coming together with
his skills of graphic design, lustration, TV graphics and animation. He spends
hours going through flea markets, car boot sales, paper sales carefully
choosing to get papers that have character, new printed papers don’t have
integrity, and every piece of paper has its own integrity, character and
history. He intends to bring these together; any piece of paper that appeals to
him from pavement glitter to collection pieces is a legitimate target. He looks for bruised, battered, stained and
torn and pieces that have been touched by life.
He is influenced by other artist one of which is Warhol and there’s many
more. He also liked Japanese and Chinese calligraphy.
